How I Met Your Mother

It is clear, since I believe the first season, that Robin and Barney are great together..There was an episode where she substituted as Barney's wingman. Suddenly, in the beginning of the season, Barney betrayed his love for Robin. The last few episodes haven't included his hidden crush...so the question is this: WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? Call me a hopeless romantic, but I would LOVE to see those guys fall in love and soften their hard outer shell..

Come on... Don't kill Barney!

Why do people want to end with the Bro?

I would love for Barney and Robin to get together, and I think they will sometime this season. I can't wait to see where this goes!

I have a feeling Barney's in denial and doesn't want to face the feelings he 'caught'. Lily did ask him about it in "The Naked Man", but he just shrugged it off as no big deal. They won't drop it and something will happen eventually.

I would love to see Barney and Robin get together coz they're totally amazing together! I loved the episode where she acts as his wingman, and dey hang out together.

It would totally ruin the whole Barney Stinson character if he settles for 1 girl..
Barney Stinson is all about the seducing multiple women, and the single life. That would totally vanish if he has to go out wit Robin :S

i think that barneys character will still be funny if he and robin were together, yeah he will change but who said it has to be in a way that ruins all the funny parts. think about it, mabye he could teach some newbee or something all his rules. and if not that, we saw how barney and robin were funny together when she was his wingman...

While I am totally enamored by Cobie Smulders, this show is long overdue for replacement. The talking, the telling of the story, is boring, and the word "awesome" is way over used. Cobie is the only character that makes me tune in, just to see. Maybe it is because she is Canadian??. The whole tale is a bunch of CRAP and it should be replaces.
The funniest show is "The Big Bang Theory", those 4 guys are great characters, and throw in Penny, what a great fun comedy.
More of "Criminal Minds" and "Numb3rs", 2 of the best shows on period, although, I get a bit tired of Charlie doing an Algorythem every week (what is that anyhow, the EX-VP dancing??)
I will watch CSI out of respect for great actors.
I will stop watching CSI Miami unless they figure out a way to kill of Horatio...his arrogance drives me nuts, and I would like to punch him in the face!! Miss Bonavista......we...need...to..get....t - is...guy.....and I will!! The whole show is boring.

I agree it is obvious Robin and Barney should be together.

In the episode where Robin and Barney played laser tag, smoked cigars, and drank scotch together it was obvious they had more in common than any of the other characters on the show. In the episde where Robin's old love showed up, Barney was clearly there for Robin and they ended up sleeping together. Several times since then Barney has tried to establish a relationship with Robin, but the writers keep creating a diversion to keep them apart.

The problem is the show is about Ted. I realize the show must center around Ted's perception of things.

Unfortunately, Ted is kinda whiney. So I don't tend to want to see good things for Ted, the way I would like to see good things for Barney. Barney, is indominable. The best example of Barney's indominability is the episde called "Game Night" in Season 1.

Ok, seriously, why has no one pointed out that the link to this thread is "Is Robin and Barney great together" it's a little ridiculous that ti's been that way for so long.

Of course, if it isn't a mistake, they could just already be referring to them in the singular...

After this weeks show, I am more convinced than ever that that it is stupid and why I watched it is still undetermined.....I love Robin, I love Canadians, I love Canada, and I love strip bars in Canada. But that has nothing to do with how dumb a plot this show has, an Barney is an A-hole character, and NOT AWESOME!! Stupid show--they only reason you guys watch it is because THE BIG BANG THEORY is only a half hour, and you are waiting for 2 AND A HALF MEN to come on. I have to find something more productive to do. They ought to put CHRISTINE and HOW I MET on in the same hour, so not to have to break up real shows.
